Good response.... Or you can be like ACHotrod and bring the vagina to haydays and have the best of both worlds?
well, now you have to tell us less-fortuate people the story.

You have me seriously thinking about it. But I don't think I'd afford being able the trip home after encountering all the good deals....

^ So that looks like 2 maybe's. 5 guys in a van splitting costs make it affordable, easier, and fun. Think about it.
I don't mind burning up 3 vacation days for haydays

5 guys in a van?
Better bring along a few extra buxx for a u-haul trailer to bring stuff home. I once made the 6 hour trip home from the "Spring Carlisle" car swap meet with a rim under each arm, and a pair of cylinder heads on my lap.
95 - Storm 800 - Modded - AKA: FrankenStorm - Totalled near 100mph at Tug Hill!
96 - XLT/SP with Storm 800 trip/trip and now EFI - FrankenStorm II lives...
95 - RXL -- Sale Pending --
05 - Edge 800 long track - Stayin' stock for now..
---------------------------------------------
It made me more compassionate, more empathetic, more nurturing...
I FEEL LIKE I'M TRAPPED IN MY OWN WORST NIGHTMARE!!!

^ Uhaul is stupid expensive. Been there and used them many times. I know I am not there to buy anything big and if there was something I had to have that I could not fit in the van, ship it, or buy it locally.

Uhaul is cheap if you know the right people. A guy i work with his father in-law owens a Uhaul shop this is the reason i do not need a sled trailer every year i got to oldforge for a week he gets me one for $5.00perday lol gatta love connections.

ACM- I tell you what. Buy me a plane ticket to new york and I'll be your navigator.
Owning a race sled is like having a totally hot girlfriend..... All of your friends want to see it, feel it and check it out..... They all want to know what it is like to ride it, but if they only knew how much time and money it takes to keep one up, they would call you a fool!

^ Something to seriously consider. I will have 10? hrs of driving in before I get to a meeting spot with you. I am hoping to get a few NY guys to want to go but so far no such luck.
come on machzrider! Emtp already backed out. It doesn't matter if you are getting married 3 weeks after haydays!
I want to take 1/2 day vacation thursday and leave here around 11 am to head west. Arrive somewhere in Indiana 9-10 pm? Head to haydays from there friday morning. Vacation day friday, vacation day monday. But with multiple guys, no need to stop and sleep, just switch out responsible drivers.

To give you guys a heads up, I was there last year and arrived at 8am and the place was pretty full, the swap spots were all gone and the over flow was half full.
-To ride or not to ride, what a stupid question!
-You should never judge a guy until you have walked a mile in his shoes, then you are a mile away and have his shoes
-Ice, snow, or grass, I'll still kick your ass.
-"And when he gets to Heaven, to St. Peter he will tell, one more soldier reporting Sir I have served my time in Hell"
