^^^The Polaris Liberty 600's are bullet proof! I've never heard of any problems with them. There just great sleds.

I think you might be getting confused the engine that is in your sleds is the domestic reed twin engines, I can not remember what year polaris started to put that engine in I think it was 04, but don't liberty's have some reliability problems

Didnt you post earlier in this thread that you had a 98 600? That was a liberty motor. The polsris domestic twin itslef is the liberty motor.

Very few libery motors had a few issues. There were some crank and exh valve issues on the 800s and some of the earlier exh valve motors a few probs but just with the valves failing. Overall they are a great motor.

The fusion 900 had its own probs but that was isolated to that specific case.

1998 XC 700
SLP pipe, boost bottle, power packs, VForce, clutched, Ripsaw 1.25, M-10 susp, 2 in riser, handlebar hooks, third testicle, and good brakes.

I do have a 98 600 put into a 98 500 body but I thought That the 98-04 had domestic twins in them the 99 indy 500 had a liberty in them the 04 I thought had the liberty in it because usually liberty's had the head painted black, then when they got rid of the domestic which was painted red on top they started to paint the liberty's red. Anyways I did not drive the 600 yet because I just threw it in in late april

1998 Polaris Indy 500 chassis with 98 Xc 600 motor
SLP ceramic coated pipe with SLP can

Not sure what you just typed, but I just looked up a 98 500 and Im pretty sure youre right if youre saying that it had a fuji motor. 99 and up had a liberty, but they never stopped using a "liberty" motor. Any domestic polaris motor is a Liberty motor.

I love the Polaris EDGE chassis (01-05). Maybe its just cause I have never riddin a IQ. They look great, have some great graphics, and really handle nicly. As I stated before the 600 LIBERTY engine is fantastic. I'm really not sure where or how you ride but if your looking for a new sled I would totally go with a 02 or 03 XCSP 600.

I am a all around mountain rider and like the M series Cats. If you Climb I would go for the SkiDoo, but I really do not like the stiffness of them.

For me, I don't think there is no better sled than the IQr 600. But, that's my opinion. I mean, the domination in snocross, and that 600 Liberty!!!! Especially if you modded the motor. Awesome chassis and suspension!! That, and I'm just an all around Polaris freak!! I love all their sleds, from the old TX's to the new RMK's. However, I do like some of the other companies sleds. And I know the others all make good sleds, too. It's just to me, Polaris is the best!!!

Nope

All indy 500s had fuji engines.

1998-2010 600-800 are liberty twins. The 97 RMK 700 and 99+ XC 500s were also liberty motors.

-06 IQ R 600HO

They all make good sleds IMO. There is no one best sled out of them all..

Polaris- Any liberty 600
Doo-Rev 600 HO and 800R
Cat-Firecat:sky rocketed the industry today
Yamaha: Any 4 stroke especially the Nytro and Apex Great reliability with alot of power

Yams 4strokes
Cats...well I will have to get back to you.

whats wrong with the 900? they didnt have nearly as many engine failures as the 800 does. plus its not even the same engine desing.

There has been less failures with the 900 because they only made it for 1 year. The 800 has been out for along time.
