Im looking for a NEW set of skis for my 95 indy 500 with 136" conversion, soon to have 8" wheel kit fox shocks, getting a custom made seat, 6" risers RSI bars, price performance single pipe. And, now i want to swap out the skis, the kimpex skis, and polaris factory skis are about the same in price(Side hiller II's are about 300 with carbides?), and i was wondering what would be better. Or, i could get a pair of camoplast skis for $225.00 with carbides and those are a 7.5" wide ski but they're a blow molded deal where kimpex/polaris are injection(I think, but not sure feel free to correct me) What's the best bet for a decent ski that's not super outrageously priced. I thought about going to a salvage yard, and finding a decent pair of used skis as well.

I have looked at kimpex, camo and have used polaris skis. The polaris skis seems to have a higher quality plastic.

I can get a partsunlimited discount and I would pay more and get the polaris skis.

woodbooga: (WOOD-boog-ah), n. regional dialect, common to areas of New Hampshire and Maine including the towns of Ossipee, Alton, Farmington, Acton, and Lebanon; one who attempts to obtain free firewood to fuel woodburning appliances in an effort to mitigate expenses related to home heating with fossil fuels. Frequently used as a term of derision by non-woodburners who mock the presence of loose bark and other wood waste in the beds of their pickup trucks.
