Just got a set tonight and they are freakin awesome! Just push a button and they retract. No more tangles. They are on sale.. 2 for 18 bucks at quality farm and fleet. If you sign up for their emails, you get 5 dollars off a 25 dollar purchase.
I think they are 1 inch x 6 feet.

dont let them get wet at all they stop working as soon as they touch water not sure why

We don't have a Quality Farm & Fleet, They have been taken over by TSC. I liked QF&F better.
Sounds worth having a look at. I need to get a couple more straps. I had a couple dissapear as they will tend to do if you occasionally loan them out.

Whoops.. it is tractor supply. Was central tractor, then quality farm and fleet, now tractor supply. They are like this http://www.tractorsupply.com/webapp/wcs/...ue&cFlag=1
2 of them for 18 bucks. the rope is 1500 lbs but it says 500 lb working capacity.
Thanks for the tip about water! Weird. I bet it makes the rope swell.
