The whole face of the temp gauge illuminates green when lit.

Personally, I like the location. What good is a guage if is not in a prominent spot?

And green back light fits the color scheme of the dash.

I bought one for my polaris and it's one of the best mods I've ever done. I don't much care about the looks but the function is the important part. I run down lot of low snow, ice covered trails around here. It lets me know when it's time to find some snow or pull over and take a break. I don't like relying on the "idiot light". By the time it comes on it's way over heated. All sleds should come with a temp gauge.

That's cool, how do you install a temp guage? How much is it?
