dirty harry is right, you can own whatever the hell you want as long as you're qualified. I bet everything you own isn't practical, you have to have fun sometimes too. Fun are also good for stress. You tell me that when you do things like shoot a guns at targets or take your sled for a good ride you don't have some good clean fun.

Quote This is true but, how many times is an average person get put into the position to shoot someone in self defense.
True, it's not going to happen everyday, but would you rather be a victim or be prepared?
Quote There is no practical reason for most people to own a snowmobile either. This is America, it is what separates us from other nations. This is our right and freedom. Who gives a **** what is practical? **** that.
An AK is no more dangerous than any other gun. I personally think it is a far more practical run of the mill 9mm or .45 handgun.
Let it snow.

your claim that an ak isn't practical.
There are some people on this forum that have some issues with reading comprehension.
No, AK's arn't practical, and I did say that, but why did you feel the need to defend the right to own one when that wasnt the topic of any of my posts?

That reporter is a complete idiot. Why are people so afraid of AKs? They won't kill you any deader than any other gun! And it is not an 'assault weapon' unless you are physically assaulting someone with it!
The chances of someone using the truck as a weapon in a DWI accident is much higher than anyone ever using the AK as a "weapon" in an actual crime. Why isn't everyone freaking out about a 5000lb killing machine hurling down the road at 70mph with a drunk driver?????
Communist News Network. All opinion, no facts, P-ss Poor Reporting. They should concentrate on hollywood and leave the real world to those that have to live in it.

As usual, wonderful objective reporting from CNN. What's wrong with an AK-47 anyway? It's just the same as any other semi-automatic rifle. That idiot reporter just assumes that it's a machine gun like they tote around in the Middle East. Nice job of doing a little research for your story lady. Wait, I forgot, CNN creates reality; it doesn't report it.
