So I have a 2003 Yamaha Blaster. I am the original owner. New back tires. Is a clean machine except the back fender.
I know my quad is not worth a lot compared some so I will trade mine for a blown up yfz 450, raptor 660, raptor 700, honda trx450r or maybe a damaged honda 400ex but not blown up.
If your serious about this offer then I will post up pics but I just want to know if there are any intrested.

Good luck with that man, it's not gonna happen man... I see blasters(Including my own moto cross blaster) sell for under 2k ALL day, and mine was an 03 with works triple rates, ASR a-arms/CP customs, G-force axle, 240 big bore kit v-force 2 reeds, and an FTZ in frame pipe, full race plastic, and DG aluminum nerf bars, IMS fuel tank, and IMS foot pegs. Yep, got $1900 after it was all said and done. I should have kept it, because it would keep up with banshees no problem on the track.

If I had my blaster set up like yours I would of kept it, DARN YOU for selling it. Ya thats why hopefully someone will have a yfz 450 thats blown up and has some more probelms that decrease the value. If I need to I will sell my dirtbike and include some extra money if someone is intrested. The reason why I want/need a bigger one is I went riding a couple days ago and everyone I mean everyone had atleast 200cc on me. I was still right behind them getting pounded with ruts of dirty but just not enough left in her to pass.
Mine has a FMF fatty pipe. Boyeson Reeds. Wiseco piston. Some kind of aftermarket grab bar. New seat cover.
Mine is really really clean and it would still be like perfect but I made a huge mistake in letting other people riding it.

How old are you? Personally there isn't anything wrong with a blaster. craig at CP customs is a mad man(He has a video of his rigid framed 240 blaster kicking the snout out of a DS 650 with a big bore).... But, here are a few 'cheap' mods, find a pair of works double rates with resevoirs(New are about $300.00), a Z400 rear shock, or 250R rear shock on ebay will bolt right in, and is a HUGE improvement. Get a G-force axle, or stock banshee(+2 inches wider)(if they still make them for $200.00 ASR a-arms are about 400.00 if i remember for +3+1, and you have a pretty stout ride for anything you want to do. Those were my first, and best mods i could have ever done. I used to ride at frozen ocean quite a bit, and every body was surpised. Needless to say, i sold my blaster for the last 1,800 i owed on my supercharged 89 trans am with 400 @ wheels and i've been addicted to boost, or bottle ever since

I'll be 16 in less then 2 months. Just I dont know but when I ride it I just feel so crammed and I want to go faster but it just won't go. Me and the club president switched atvs for like 5 minutes and it was the first time I ever rode a 4-stroke racing quad and right away I jumped the whole hill, cut tons of time off in the straight a ways and in the corners.
Some people say I don't need a bigger one but I have had it since I was 9 or 10 and I'm just looking for something different.

Wow I have seen Blasters here in Mi sell all day for 1200-890 and in good shape. Why do you want a blown 4 stroke. The price you are going to pay to fix up a 4stroke you could build one hell of a Blaster. Just my 2cents

exactly. Blasters while they might feel 'small' you can get taller bars, an extended steering stem, plus you can widen the stance, best way is to get a pair of ASR a-arms, and a banshee rear axle(About $500.00 total) to widen it three inches. As far as shocks you can also use banshee front shocks, and a Z400/250R rear shock, banshee shocks sell all day long for $50.00 a pair on ebay, and a good z-400 shock can be had for as little as $80.00, get a new reed valve, port it out, or get a 240 big bore kit(About 800 w/ reed valve). If you buy a 240 kit DO NOT buy anything from vitos... i'd go with CP customs, for ANY parts you want to buy for a blaster. Craig does amazing work, and backs it up as well.
