about 2 miles from my house there is a 1983 Yamaha excel 3 for $50. he says the body is in rough shape, and the engine once it is started, just revs up all the way. sounds like the throttle cable is just stuck. heres the ad.

i plan on it. because even if the body is bad, then i could just use the engine for something else, like make a beast go kart. or if the engine i cant get to run good, then i could probably use some parts for my SRV. its a win/win.

I sold my 88' Excel 340 for $75, after it hit a tree from the throttle getting stuck open, totaling it, and ripping the track into 2. I'd jump on that deal.

ok, so the guy kind of screwed me over. i told him yesterday that i can come by as soon as possible and pick it up. he tells me he is way to busy all week, and i can come by this weekend. and now he emails me and says that someone picked it up today! wtf! oh well my lose no point dwelling on it.
