If the Packer's lose to the Viking's, it's just that, A Loss to the Viking's.
Brett Favre is not a Team, the Viking's are, and so are the Packer's.
You guy's are welcome to him, and all the baggage he bring's with him.
Green Bay is quite happy with Arron Rodgers, Thank You Very Much!

How about Rodgers against the past two games. He looked stunning with his control, movement, and cohesiveness with the team. That toss to Driver for the TD made me a little wet if that doesn't creep anybody out too much...
Favre one for four lol. He got rocked pretty good too.
Wisconsin is happy with our new QB and Brett Favvvvvre who?

Never shall I fail my comrades. I will always keep myself mentally alert, physically strong and morally straight and I will shoulder more than my share of the task whatever it may be, one-hundred-percent and then some. My courtesy to superior officers, neatness of dress and care of equipment shall set the example for others to follow. Energetically will I meet the enemies of my country. I will never leave a fallen comrade to fall into the hands of the enemy and under no circumstances will I ever embarrass my country. Aaron Rodgers is a great player. i know hes better than any QB the Vikings has except Favre. and theres no way the Vikings are going to the Super Bowl. Favre and S.Rice this will be good. it will be like J.Montana and J. Rice back in the day.

I am happy Mr. Favre is a Viking, but for a very selfish reason. It seemed the Home Opener for the Browns would be blacked out locally, as the game was not sold out. After years of sub par football, plus the economy, the FANS have had enough ! Thanks to the Favre signing, it looks like the game will sell out ! So I will be able to watch the game thanks to Mr. Favre ! That having been said, Brett Favre will ALWAYS be a Packer ! Who remembers Franco Harris as a Seahawk or Bernie Kosar as a Cowboy, No, Brett Favre and the Packers will walk together forever in NFL History. To all the Packers Faithful: Here's hoping Favre spends opening day on the turf of Cleveland Browns Stadium !

Only the Vikings Managment would think paying 25 mil for a washed up, 40 year old QB with a bum shoulder, who threw 22 TD passes and 22 interceptions last year and failed to lead his team to the playoffs is going to bring them a superbowl appearance!!! I have an idea for vike managment, instead of chasing washed up QB's like McMahon, Moon, George, Cunningham and Farve or wasting valuable draft picks on NOBODYS from NOWHERE ST. ie Culpepper and T-Jac, why not invest in a REAL franchise QB? They will have nothing more than another mediocre year!!
Do you remember another deal that ultimately cost the Vikings more than a couple good seasons? How about the Herchel Walker trade? Single handedly rebuilt the Cowboys in one year. As a Viking fan in Wisconsin, I never will hear the end of this deal!! Why in the world would you sign a guy who admits he does not want to practice?
They should have stuck with Gus and left T-Jac on the bench to "mature" or signed another "up and comer". It worked in Green Bay. If he can stay healthy, Rogers is going to be remembered as a damn fine quarterback.
Now it is up to the Vikings to find someone to groom. If only the coach would see the light and stop changing quarterback in the middle of a game. He must think he is a baseball manager!
Find the line between respect and fear....then flirt with it

I think if Brett Favre wanted to make a big difference with a team, and stick it to Ted Thomson, he should've signed with the LIONS!
The Vikings won their division and went into the playoffs.
The Lions won........ well, nothing. They only have one way to go. Even if number 4 would have a season like he did with the Jets, it would still be an improvement over Detroit's last season.
If he does that in Minnesota, they will be calling for his head on a platter.

Everyone says they signed him to go all the way but i don't think he can last any more than the regular season, so mainly hewill be useless for the playoffs. Next year i highly doubt he will return and now you wasted a year of experience for the guys you have and a ton of money that could be used to get that franchise quarterback.
Watching Rogers with more experience and confidence its great to see him play and our defense is lokking great. If the packers can avoid last years injury devastation they will be very strong and we need that for this division.
I spend money i don't have, on parts i don't need, to impress people i don't know.

Well.....for an old man he didnt look to bad against the Texans. Adrian Peterson looked awesome!
I thought that chop block Favre put on that safety was really cheap and he better watch for the payback from other defensive players.

the fact that hes "ok" makes him the leagues leading rusher?? Do you ever watch football!? do you ever notice how the top runningbacks in the league just keep pounding it in play after play... 2-5 yard gains constantly.. then they break one big loose. If he would of played the entire game he would of had 175-200 yards rushing.

**** if that's luck, I'd like to see what someone who was actually good could do. That is the most ignorant statement I've read on this whole thread. AP is a fantastic RB and has shown his talent the last couple years. You don't get to be the league's leading rusher on luck...

Seriously dude?
I'm not debating Barry Sanders' greatness.
I'm pointing out the fact that the last two topics I've read you end up looking to a total uninformed tool. (This and the PS3 argument). Please pour wood glue all over your keyboard, please. That way, when you get the urge to type something idiotic, you can try, but nothing will happen, win-win for all of us.

he's played for three years. leads the league in rushing, and holds the single game rushing record... something sander's never did. so, your right, he is not barry sanders... you have made a complete fool of yourself, and i agree, please stop... typing.
what does this have to do with brett favre anyways?
