Why do you feel the need to be so contraversial. You can state your opinion without getting personal.

If peterson stays healthy he will destroy any and all of sanders records, Sanders screwed up by locking himselfs into a losing team but i think Peterson will need to switch teams to win a superbowl like Moss did.

hes no Barry Sanders the best RB that ever lived

Seriously dude?

I'm not debating Barry Sanders' greatness.

I'm pointing out the fact that the last two topics I've read you end up looking to a total uninformed tool. (This and the PS3 argument). Please pour wood glue all over your keyboard, please. That way, when you get the urge to type something idiotic, you can try, but nothing will happen, win-win for all of us.

Ownage... I am a GB fan and AP is the shiz nit. Most talented RB I have ever seen.

Recognizing that I volunteered as a Ranger, fully knowing the hazards of my chosen profession, I will always endeavor to uphold the prestige, honor, and high esprit de corps of the Rangers. Acknowledging the fact that a Ranger is a more elite soldier who arrives at the cutting edge of battle by land, sea, or air, I accept the fact that as a Ranger my country expects me to move further, faster and fight harder than any other soldier. Never shall I fail my comrades. I will always keep myself mentally alert, physically strong and morally straight and I will shoulder more than my share of the task whatever it may be, one-hundred-percent and then some. Gallantly will I show the world that I am a specially selected and well-trained soldier. My courtesy to superior officers, neatness of dress and care of equipment shall set the example for others to follow. Energetically will I meet the enemies of my country. I shall defeat them on the field of battle for I am better trained and will fight with all my might. Surrender is not a Ranger word. I will never leave a fallen comrade to fall into the hands of the enemy and under no circumstances will I ever embarrass my country. Readily will I display the intestinal fortitude required to fight on to the Ranger objective and complete the mission though I be the lone survivor. What are you talking about? The ONLY knock against AP is that he puts the ball on the ground more than most people would like to see. Even Barry did that.

just do what i have been doing... sit back, laugh, and be glad your not him.

i was very happy to see that the wisconsin locals are being good sports about all of this!

im just excited to see how the season goes, if the packers make it to the playoffs and the vikes dont, well then i will root for them.

Dude, yes. Barry was an amazing running back and I doubt we'll ever see someone with similar moves ever again. Too bad Barry bitched out on the Lions and retired before he put that all time rushing record somewhere no one else could touch. I lost a ton of respect for him when he "retired" because the Lions wouldn't trade him.

AP is off to a great start.

Barry 1989: 1470 yds, 14TD, 10 FUM
Barry 1990: 1304 yds, 16TD, 3 FUM
2774 yds, 30 TD, 13 FUM

AP 2007: 1341 yds, 13 TD, 4 FUM
AP 2008: 1760 yds, 10 TD, 9 FUM
3101 yds, 23 TD, 13 FUM

Both were offensive ROY winners
AP is the second rookie to win the ProBowl MVP award (Marshall Faulk)
Single game rushing record 296 yards.

Let's just compare apples to apples here. This is what we call a solid argument, not just "Barry is the best cause I said so..."

VERY similar backs, if you ask me.

Yeah because no one has ever seen a highlight reel of Barry Sanders. I remember when i was a little kid thats all i heard about was Sanders. AP and Sanders are very simliar, i would love to see those two play each other. Probably be a pretty even match.

the ViQueens where ok. AP was so-so. he got lucky on that big run. Cribbs was great. im suprised they won. i dont remember who it was on the Browns that stepped out of bounds on that long a$$ almost TD. but he should've got the TD. the refs that called that play where retarded. the Browns should've won it.

All I can say is WOW!!!!!

you are clue-less.....A.P. is without a doubt the best in the league right now!Any team would pay him huge money to run the ball for them. Even on play's where it looked like he would get nothing or a loss he would stuff it up the middle for 5 yds.
