I would do it. I've always had good luck with polaris and plus the rmk is three years newer than your zrt and it has a bigger engine. Go for it.

Do it Those Rmk's are a great sled when they came out they were the best u could have that year It will be easier to find parts for the GEN II chassis.



1998 Polaris Indy 500 chassis with 98 Xc 600 motor
SLP ceramic coated pipe with SLP can
V-force reeds
4 inch pivot riser
Gutted Air Box
EPI clutch kit soon to be installed
Maybe some pro tapers

1998 XC 700 water-cross sled
SLP twin pipes
Some light weight parts
Water-cross mods include taking the parts u do not need
This includes removing the seat replacing gas tank and IFS bars.

Id go for the RMK. i had a 96 zrt and it was like driving a tank with skis. And those RMKs are really nice machines, you wont be dissapointed

I say it depends on how and what conditions you ride. Nothing has been said about where your from.....if you don't get much snow,be careful. You could still do the RMK but you may have to re-track it.

we dont get a lot of snow but i like to go to the hills and ride black hills and would like to go to wyoming this year.
