Its not a paint. Its a spray on poly-plastic material that we use at work. Its incredibly durable and flexible. The really cool part is that it when you spray it on it actually hardens within a couple of seconds so it took about 10 minutes to do my tunnel and 15 for the A-arms. No one has ever tried this on a sled, to my knowledge, so I'm interested to see how it holds up in the cold. We added gray pigment to get the gray color, if you don't die it its more of a puke yellow. I know you can get black pigment for it. I thought about doing black but I've seen that on other sleds and I've only seen gray on one other sled

That looks really nice! I hope to see it up at the sled park this winter.

Owning a race sled is like having a totally hot girlfriend..... All of your friends want to see it, feel it and check it out..... They all want to know what it is like to ride it, but if they only knew how much time and money it takes to keep one up, they would call you a fool!

The overall matte finish really looks nice. Now you just need some accents to set off the Black/Gray sceme. Really nice job overall though!

I coated them with a poly plastic gun that we use at work. You wouldn't be able to do it unless someone around you has one and I doubt it because its a pretty specialized unit. Even if you found someone to do it I'm not sure yet how it will hold up to the abuse during the winter. I will let you know if it holds up

Sounds like a plan to me, I'll bring the girlfriend along so we can get some pic's. I wonder if anyone will be able to recognize the sled..

I hope know one will recognize it. If I recall correctly everyone recognized it as junkshow's sled, so I hope to avoid that
