Check out this modification. I got tired of leaving my sled sit in the shed for 5 months of the year. Now I can use it year round. This modification is totally street legal. Let me know what you think.
Thanks, Marcus Jordan

The price of the kit is $6600.00 plus shipping. Fuel milage on the F7 is about 18mpg. Will have a Z1 jaguar converted by Oct 1. Should see way better mpg's on the four stroke. The F7 is performance. 0-60 in about 2.4 seconds and 0-100 in about 4 seconds. Talk about bragging rights!!!

Dang, steep price, but you're easily competing with most Rockets on the road... Someday... Someday...

I wouldn't trust a 2-stroke snowmobile to get me too far on the road, or for very long

Yet you trust your two stroke to get you as far as you want to go on the snow??? Doesn't make much sense.

i agree with this.you would think it would overheat a belt of the motor on a super hot day or on a freeway doing 100 for like 50miles

It looks like a Can Am Spyder. For the price of a sled plus the conversion kit I'm just wondering if it's just more cost effective to get something that's already designed to go on the street at that rate plus a sled.

Similar question to above - what about cooling? Doesn't it overheat with now snow to get the heat off the heat exchangers?

There is an air ducted radiator with a powered cooling fan so we have no overheating issues. We have had this model out on 90 plus degree days with no problems. We I am working with the guy on you tube to promote this product. Thanks all for looking. Will be happy to answer any questions. If you would like to call me my number is 219-488-4028.

Thanks,

Marcus

I would rather just spend a couple thousand more if you got that and get a can-am spyder better mileage, reliability is better, and not to much less performance difference

True I suppose:

Manual transmission Can Am Spyder: $16,199
Auto transmission Can Am Spyder: $17,699

http://spyder.brp.com/en-US/See/Can-Am/S...room/Index

Arctic Cat F8 LXR: $11,199

http://www.arcticcat.com/snow/snow.asp?c...odel=F8LXR

... plus the conversion kit ($6,600) = $17,799

If you own a sled AND a Spyder? ($11,199 + $17,699 = $28,898)

Yikes... thing is, with mileage comes a lot more maintenance on a sled. I can see the cost of maintenence overwhelming any savings. Add to that the time you'd put into said maintenence and you're opperating at something of a loss... I also routinely travel 200+ miles on the road (motorcycle) and I wouldn't want to put all those miles on the sled (my sled is like a second child) and I tend to not trust any sled to take me that far on a daily basis... I can also see states like NY and CA getting their panties in a bunch allowing a 2-stroke (or even a 4-stroke) on the road at some point and the Spyder is already emissions ready... sure, there are some older 2-stroke bikes out there but they tend to be gradfathered. Besides, part of the novelty of my sled is that I only get to ride it for certain parts of the year.

Don't get me wrong, I think the concept is cool as hell and if I had the extra cash and another sled kickin' around, I'd probably do it :D

On that note, brilliant engineering

Hey thanks for looking. I will have my 07 Z1 done and on the road by October. These four stroke machines are used by many rental places and have very long reliable lives. The F7 is plated in Mass. and there have been no issues driving it in NH,or VT as well as Mass. The two stroke smokes but the emission standards are there. they smoke not because of bad emissions only cause they are 2strokes. If you ride one you'll most likely want one. Thanks for all your positive input.

Marcus Jordan
