Hi Im looking at bigger mountain sleds. One has a silencer and one says it has a can. Whats the difference or are they one in the same? i want it to be a little louder at higher rpms but not annoying. im new to these add ons so i need some advice. Thanks

Well the can is louder and lighter and sounds nice and the stock silencer is heavy and gay most of the time

Lol @ SXMTX. But, yeah they're the same thing can and silencer. Just a lot of people refer to after market silencer's as can's because that's what they look like, still the same thing though.

yeah they are the same thing altough there are different ones that are louder and ones that are some what louder then stock. Like SLP makes cans that aren't that much louder then stock while MBRP is A LOT louder then stock. Most after market cans are louder then stock it just depends on how much louder is what makes the difference between them.

i have the s&s rumble pack on mine and "I" think it sounds good, not loud enough to get messed with by DNR, but alot louder than stock especially when you get on it a little, personal opinion is all it is. you can go to you tube and look for people who have posted videos with different cans on their machines
