Heres a trailer...I don't want to give away anymore than what's in the trailer. Good story, believable characters (actors), great effects, action filled, no anoying children, and left me wanting to see a sequel...

I've heard is very, very good. I really want to get out and see it.

Make sure you catch it on the "big screen" Don't wait for the rental. Well worth my $7.00 ticket and $5.00 small popcorn

I saw it too with my 13 yo son.. seemed a little slow in the beginning and could see he was getting bored.. didn't really know the movie started as I thought the beginning was just another trailer.. after about the first 1/2 hour it got more interesting..

pretty good movie overall.. after the movie my boy said he couldn't wait for the sequel too.. guess he like it

Didn't really think it was that special. Or Inglorious Bastards for that matter. Too much talkie talkie not enough boom in both.

Recognizing that I volunteered as a Ranger, fully knowing the hazards of my chosen profession, I will always endeavor to uphold the prestige, honor, and high esprit de corps of the Rangers. Acknowledging the fact that a Ranger is a more elite soldier who arrives at the cutting edge of battle by land, sea, or air, I accept the fact that as a Ranger my country expects me to move further, faster and fight harder than any other soldier. Never shall I fail my comrades. I will always keep myself mentally alert, physically strong and morally straight and I will shoulder more than my share of the task whatever it may be, one-hundred-percent and then some. Gallantly will I show the world that I am a specially selected and well-trained soldier. My courtesy to superior officers, neatness of dress and care of equipment shall set the example for others to follow. Energetically will I meet the enemies of my country. I shall defeat them on the field of battle for I am better trained and will fight with all my might. Surrender is not a Ranger word. I will never leave a fallen comrade to fall into the hands of the enemy and under no circumstances will I ever embarrass my country. Readily will I display the intestinal fortitude required to fight on to the Ranger objective and complete the mission though I be the lone survivor. It wasn't really what I expected, but still a great movie. I think the sequel will be a whole lot better.

My dad came home at 9:30 pissed. He was trying to figure out why people thought it was a good movie, and said he would give it a 4 out of 10. Time for him to see G.I.JOE

I thought it was pretty inovative and had a good story to tell. I mean you have to think a little bit while watching it. It's not like watching some mindless movie that just shows you bib booms and special effects. Special effects are nothing to me without a good story and believable characters.

There are some good "big booms" and special effects are great, but maybe not enough for some. If all you want to see is CGI then go see GI Joe. I can't believe they got Dennis Quade to be in that. Judjing from the trailer, a new low for him.
