going to look at storm 800 triple triple with egt. 3000 miles 1994. guy on phone said extras with worst thing on the sled a small dent in front bumper. $600. so what do you guys think? my dad called dealer and guy said high maintenance. but idk what do you guys think?

probaly be a good sled there is several later storms around here 97-98 and both are great runners

bad suspension, but if you want speed, this is the sled. But that is almost all you will want it for is speed. Very heavy.
I would definitly get it for that money tho!

Sounds like a great deal even if you hate it after could probly sale it for little more if all cleaned up or even part it out and get more then you paid.

I had a 93 and i loved it. The suspention did suck but the speed made up for it. I clutched and jetted mine and after it would feal like you shoulders where going to dislocate with a smash of the throttle. Always had a smile on my face untill i had to put gas in it.

:( no, i didn't buy it. It wasn't quite as nice as I thought it would be but still was ver nice. I was way too hesistant though because the guy had it sitting around there with the carbs wide open cause he couldnt find his pod filters for it but he didnt really care so I was worried about something have already gotten into the engine. That and I need the money to fix my Pro X. cause i'm into the ditchbangin', snocross, cross country stuff, so i just decided to put the money in my Pro X right now and ride that til' i can afford an IQr!

yeah sometimes things arnt what you meant them to be. We went to buy a Zr 580, guy said the carbs needed to be cleaned and turns out that the pistons were scored and a rod went through the case. don't know how but yea lol.
