Hi, i was just wondering i got a 95 vmax 600 twin for $50.00 needs a bit of work but whatever, my main concern is the mag side cylinder is chewed up reallly bad, and someone said the cylinders are plated with nikasil. Now, i know my indy storm is, but i didnt think the 95 vmax's were. Can i just re-sleeve, and call it good?

Well make sure you find the cause of the melt down before you go and slap it all back together. And dont skimp out on rebuilding. Do it right the first time. Just my 2 cents

Jag, for sure. I really dont care for the vmax IMHO, i like my storm 800 much much more. PSI pipes, v-force reeds, new ATAAC, KOSO EGT gauge, it's getting ported too, and plan on running VP C-12 in it, also plan on oil injection block off, I hate oil injection, and prefer to mix the oil/fuel myself. Get better results
