Poo never made a 1994 XLT 650
A stock mill would be 580cc
So that means it would have to be a transplant engine. (make sure its not a cobble job)
I think I saw the listing on CL.
I've never had a ten But I've had 5 two's

I just found a 94 XLT 600 for $400 that needs a masted cylinder. I'm sure I could find a master cylinder for cheap @ Hay Days. How were these sleds? Were they quick and sporty? XLT kinda sounds like a boring touring model name.

Quote originally posted by xcr440 XtraLightTriple sounds fast not touring at all. Thanks for the clarification! I wasn't sure if it was going to be something like XtraLazyTouring. So they were a pretty sweet sled? I just called the guy and he's showing it unfortunately. Hopefully it doesn't sell!

So what should I look for on the XLTs? Its a 94 w/ 4800 miles, the guy said he's only run it a few times since he bought it. Its got a broken master cylinder viewing glass, missing rear taillight, and missing snow flap.
He said he doesn't know anything about the motor, but after not running for a couple weeks, it started on the 1st pull for him.
Any other ideas for things to look for?

the 1994 580cc XLT is a hell of an engine when I sold mine with 11,000 miles on it engine never been touched and it still runs... my buddys dads 94 XLT didnt blow up until 17,000 miles... one of the best engines Polaris ever put in a sled if u ask me.
