I usually just use the good ol' SoS pad on them with some normal dish soap and water, then give them a good rinse down a few times. How do you all normally clean yours?

I'll gently scrape off the build-up, then use engine degreaser with a rag/brush.

There's 2 bolts on each end of the powervalves. Just loosen those and it should pull right out.

I use a scotch buffing wheel on my cordless drill, removes all the build up but I also soak them in carb cleaner for a night before that.

Your SUPPOSED to torque them down to 8 lbs. but you can get away with just tightening them hand tight. Not too tight or you'll strip em. The cables run to your servo-motor above your secondary clutch. It's a small black box with the bottom cut-out. You take the two screws off, pull off the box, and pull the cables.

Honestly there are not to many parts to them. I just pulled mine out and figured out how they go as I went, not to mention the fact that you still have the other assembled incase you do en up needing a reference. Plus were here to help :)

I have run amsoil dominator for the last five years at 32:1 on pump premium and all I have had to do is take out the two bolts and set them in two pint cups of KROIL solvent over night and wipe clean with a soft cloth.I have almost zero carbon build up each year.No BS that clean every time and I ride 500 - 1000 miles per year.Try switching your injection oil if you are having that much build up.KROIL is a penitraiting oil available at most auto part stores and homedepot.

I am looking into that right now. I have the arctic cat manual for 2002. My sled has 4000 miles and they have never been taken off and cleaned.

Could you blow up a newer sled if you put them in backwards?
