Use drop brackets in the rear skid mounts,
and for the front skid mounts they are there,
Look at the inside of the tunnel where the skid now mounts and you will see the template there to drill the lower hole.
This will all set up your paddle clearance and approach angle.
Now if you start eating belts, it will be a sure sign that you need to gear down for the larger track.
Just keep an eye on it and if this starts happening,
go 1 tooth smaller on the smaller gear.
Hey thanks for the response, so all I need is the rear brackets and the originals have an extra hole to drill out is that how it works? And the one tooth smaller gear, thats the top gear in the chain case right? I'm just getting used to taking apart my sled and don't know a whole lot, but I'm getting there.

I had an '02 xc, i did the same thing put a 136" on it. It worked just fine, never had any issues. Except when i stretched the back shock got weird. Not sure if for what ever reason I put the rear shock back in wrong or what? I could take the back end and push it up and down about 6-7" but it still rode fine in the powder. Good luck, hope I helped a bit.
Nice sled, I don't quiet understand what you mean when you said "when i streched the back shock got weird" thanks for the info, did you have to put the brackets on to get more clearance on the back?
