I am looking around for sleds on Craigslist. Mostly Vmaxs and SRXs but its in really good shape its a 600 Twin. But He said the clutch was broke. He is selling it for $950

A used clutch is maybe $150, I have seen them cheaper in the US but it depends on what is broke on the clutch. I mean really it could be a broken belt so without knowing it might be a bit of a gamble

Ok. I probably should call him and talk to him about it.
What should I ask him?

i paid 500 for one with a junk primary two winters ago, foot of snow on the ground, i'd say thats pretty pricey, those primarys are junk i've seen a ton of those 600 twins that need clutches

How much would a clutch cost me? And I figured it was little pricey for a 94

I vote it's too pricey for a sled with an unknown "broken clutch." Those sleds have very little rear suspension so they ride rough! Shop for something else.
