I hate to do this, but i have to sell my 04 pro-xr 440/800. i'm not sure if this will go complete or separate the motor and chassis. the motor was originally in my 01 800 xcsp. it was originally a non-ves motor. i had slp do the bearing upgrade when the motor had about 1800 miles on it. two years ago i took the motor out of the 01 xc and put it in my 04 pro-xr race chassis. in the process i turned it into a VES motor with 2003 ignition. the motor came out of the xc with 3100 miles on it, i've probably put on about 800 since then, but no speedo in the pro-xr to know exactly. the cylinders were completely fresh when i did the change.
i've modified the pro-xr chassis and it has a rev seat and tank. there was a little bit of shoehorning done to fit the 800 motor in there. i made steel running board supports, exhaust brackets, fabricated a motor torque arm, modified motor straps reinforced with steel, C&A pro skis, 9" windshield, completely custom intake which i fabricated. slp single pipe and clutching. the only problem i can think of is that the recoil rope broke and will be a small pain to replace because the motor will have to be lifted to get the recoil cover off. because of the way the 440 chassis is built, the recoil cover for the 800 is almost touching at the end. the recoil rope is not sucked into the housing, i got it before it pulled back and i tied it off. so at the moment, you have to lift the hood to start it.
i've run this as my trail sled the last two winters and it's treated me very well. i hate the thought of doing this, but i have my 06 rev race chassis that i want to turn into a trail sled so one of these has to go.
i'll try to get pics up soon. i'm looking for $2,500. otherwise i'll just part it, since i'll get more separating it. the sled is in new hope PA 18938 and i'd be willing to drive 2 hours to meet someone.

How about some more detailed pictures? Looks like a pretty sweet ride. Is it setup for low elevation?

wow, didn't think there was any interest. yes it's still for sale. the handguards are powermadd http://www.powermadd.com/products/PowerX...uard.html. the way i make it work is to leave the mounts slightly loose on the bar, just snug. then you can turn them up to open and close the hood. the mounts are plastic so it works well. i wish i could keep it also, but i need the money from this sled. most of the money will go right into the motor for the rev. i'll get pics asap
