what about tunnel protection ?

http://www.purepolaris.com/Detail.aspx?I...ID=2877687(PolarisPGACatalog)

If you look at your heat exchanger, there are upside down t-rails running down them. The tunnel protectors are installed onto those rails. They look and go on like a hifax, but thicker. You remove your rear tail flap, and there are windows to install them.

They come in a kit 2 protectors, 2 covers for the windows on the tunnel, and rivets for covers and rear tail flap.

I went with 1.075 on 1 inch track - I used the woody chart

ok, I went .10 longer on mine. Studboy called for 1.08 but I went with 1.18

woodbooga: (WOOD-boog-ah), n. regional dialect, common to areas of New Hampshire and Maine including the towns of Ossipee, Alton, Farmington, Acton, and Lebanon; one who attempts to obtain free firewood to fuel woodburning appliances in an effort to mitigate expenses related to home heating with fossil fuels. Frequently used as a term of derision by non-woodburners who mock the presence of loose bark and other wood waste in the beds of their pickup trucks.

To be honest none of my friends have it - and I've never heard of anyone getting it after studing the track before

The fusion and iq should really have the sheilds, the edges and wedgeswith the tunnels coolers didn't have any problems.

I know we put the kit on my buddies 900 fusion. not hard and very cheap.

So I did the math, looks like 144 studs and hardware will be adding 9.8lbs to the track, that's not so bad
