Thought this would also be a good reminder for anyone who does want to ride in Canada this Winter. You now MUST have a passport book or passport card. The card is about 1/2 the price of the book. It cost me 45.00 and another 8.00 for the passport photo. I got mine back in 6 weeks.
The passport card is good for only land and sea travel while the passport card is also good for air travel. Both are good for 10 years.

Anyhow, I have really missed not being up there for the past two years. I will be staying just North of the Soo at Trout Lake or in Echo Bay with
one of my friends. We have a cabin in Echo Bay, but it is not winterized.

The highlighted area above should say "the passport book".

That's way up by Timmins right? If we do that loop I'll let you know... I'm going to guess it would be 6-8 hundred mile round trip from the Soo?
I'll check it out.

Right on, I have some good friends that live in Trout Lake, and almost always taking my sled over to their place to ride, TONS of trails and sandpits to rip up. I live about 15 minute drive from that area, any idea of when you will be coming up this way?

I know the old owners of Trout Lake resort pretty well (Mike&Sandy) Do you know them? Anyhow I hope to be heading up for the first ride in mid-late January.

I don't believe I know them. Keep in touch here on the site, maybe we could hit up a few spots when you make you way up here.
