First of all, thanks to everyone who helped me!
And here's what I got...
1997 Polaris XC 440, 3700 miles, Plastic Skis, Studded Track
Overall, its in great mechanical shape, has the XTRA-10 suspension and everything! Started on the first pull from cold. The guy said its never given him any trouble. There's one tear about 4 inches long on the side of the seat that will look fine with a little tape, and the hood's in tough shape, but I'll see what I can find @ Hay Days. To me it seems like the front shocks seem to be sagging a bit, anyone else agree? Its missing the front bumper too. No biggie though.
My favorite feature was the price! I only payed $500 for it! Wicked deal or what?
What's the scoop on these sleds? How do they perform compared to the XCRs and XLTs out there?
Also, does anyone know if studs are illegal anywhere in MN? My dad seemed to think they were illegal on trails.
So thanks again everyone!
It had just started raining, that's why it looks half wet!

Looks like a nice sled. Im pretty sure you can run studs. There might be some bridges or bike paths that you cant drive on. Dont quote me on this as i dont run studs.
take off your windshield, it'll make you go faster

I hope so! I'm excited for my first season of sledding! I won't be stuck on the lakes with the wheelers anymore.

studs are illegal on most black top trails i know the William munger trail from carlton to duluth is. but some time there are separate trails for studs a long the sides. and on that note it should be clearly mark if you can't run studs.

Cool sled. I never knew they made a regular XC 440 liquid. I new about the XCR 440 liquid and the XCF 440 fan. But not an XC 440 liquid. Learned something new today!

Fuji engines are pretty good motors aren't they?
Do the front shocks look a little saggy to anyone else?
