where exactly is the new location for next year? plotted on a map yet?

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s...27595&z=15

It's located at the SW corner of Hwy 95 [St Croix Trail] & Oriole Ave [County Rd 70], North Branch, MN.

As for true on-site camping- space, liability/insurance, permitting, and security are all major issues.

Yeah, def got about 3 hours of sleep total between fri and sun. sleeping in the swap grounds is an interesting experience. I also slept in an enclosed trailer on a wooden floor. that was fun too

I will post up all the pictures I took tomorrow at work. I took about 200 of them and it will be a lot faster to transfer them to the server on a gigabit network than from home. I didn't really buy anything at all except food. I was super busy tending to my stuff, did a quick walk around some vendor sites on Sunday and watched a few races but that's about it. I met a lot of people some new, some old. Overall, lots of fun, dirty, HOTTER THAN HELL, and I even wrecked the hell out of my back loading sleds and stuff Sunday evening.

Left 5A.M. Saturday morning and arrived at around 7:30A.M. While I was there I got some booklets, $15 pink wristband, tan/sunburn, bottle of water(warm), lots of dust and a slightly used track. By the way, did anyone see the guy dressed in Arctic Cat gear going around banging symbols. Funny. He scared one guy and was about to socked but the guy realized in time that he was wearing a helmet.

i emptyed my pockets of all my cash i brought with and instead filled them with dust!!!!

picked up a mid 90's polaris rxl rolling chassis ice drag sled. i shall post some pics on here and hopefully someone knows some info on it. an SLP RZ 707 full mod engine redone to run alcohol only with modified pipes that run over top of the engine. PSI genesis II 850cc reed valve motor and PSI pipes based off the polaris indy 650 engine. polaris indy 650 rxl efi engine with fresh build and port work and with PSI pipes and chip and primary and secondary clutch setup for the PSI pipes and chip and a PSI Genesis II head on it and came with 2 stock pipes and 2 complete EFI systems and tons of other parts. also picked up a 92 polaris indy 650 rxl efi complete sled with psi triple pipes and clicker chip and in excellent shape, just needed a new ignition switch. also picked up an SLP big bore 794 cc based off the polaris indy 650 bottom end. and last but not least picked up an 1983 polaris indy 600 triple turned into a 800cc 4 cyl motor that is going to go into my 1980 polaris centurion.

Well i live in Canada I didnt go to HayDays I think its called. But I went to the flee market and picked up Project X red plastic skis with brand new carbides for $100. (Which is a really great deal for Canadian money.) And a pair of 6" bassworks speakers. 180 wat each pound awsome those little buggers. Needed them after I installed the JBL had no treble left lol. Either then that I found Alba shocks for my sled but he only had the one for the front. So there was no point. Also couldnt find handle bar risers or sliders. It was a slow day. My friend got a new pair of plastic skis for $40 bucks with no loops. Just old stock ones. We seen a really nice XLT hood painted really good. Air brushed black and blue with flaming blue skulls saying XLT 666. But both my friends who both have xlts didnt have enough money lol.

Anyways the best time was getting drunk at the hotel and going to the club with the friends. Great times.

Gonna have to come down to haydays though. Sounds awsome.

If you cant fix it with duct tape, tylnol, or band aids your screwed.

Yeah, that guy scared the sh1t out of my girlfriend she tried to kick the poor guy in the nuts.

Owning a race sled is like having a totally hot girlfriend..... All of your friends want to see it, feel it and check it out..... They all want to know what it is like to ride it, but if they only knew how much time and money it takes to keep one up, they would call you a fool!

I didn't hit the show too hard this year. Took my wife along for her first-ever time to attend. We ate some food, watched some of the grass drags, and some of the freestyle show. Since we went on Sunday, the swap meet was already kind of cleared out, at least compared to what I usually see on Saturdays. We barely walked the first row, and did that just for the experience for her. Wandered thru a few tents, but did not really attend with the plan to buy anything. Registered for the raffle sled giveaways. It was hot that day, and until some clouds blew in, it was pretty uncomfortable. Dusty as usual. Got to park in the FREE PARKING lot, never had that opportunity before!
