	Yo- I just got a 91 Exciter II for a hundred bucks yesterday...but it'll be a project. I need a new head gasket to get it to run over 5 minutes. I've found two Exciters that are being parted out on craigslist, except one is an 87 and the other is an 89. Are the gaskets the same for these other years?...They're all 570cc's so I would imagine that the cylinder and head size would be the exact same... Rating: 0 Quick Edit Edit Topic

	I would not recommend using a used head gasket, its going to fail! 	DO not install a used head gasket the head gasket part number from Yamaha is 88R-11181-00-00 Yes the 570 cc engines are the same there are differences on the sleds IE Suspensions and so forth.
