Some pretty good advice. Check back here for group rides and stuff going on in MN.
And your dealer is right, and F7 should be plenty for you, especially if you haven't seen snow before!!! Ride safe, man!

If you already bought an F7 and have never even seen snow, there is no rhyme or reason you should need pipes and custom motor work. Ride the sled as it is and get used to how it rides. It is only after you are thoroughly experienced you should be thinking about motor work and more power. Sounds like the dealer cares more about money than their customers welfare.

Welcome to the site and the greatest sport ever.
I would leave it stock for at least the first year you ride. You wanna get used to the sport and the machine itself. An F7 is a very fast machine when its stock. Not to mention you should prob make sure you really like the sport before you dump some serious $ into your sled. And pipes and big bore kits can be pretty expensive.
Remember, dont underestimate that machine! Unless youre an experienced street bike owner/rider chances are itll be one of the fastest machines of any type you have ever been on. They are NO JOKE.
Good luck and happy riding.

Find a different dealer or service shop to deal with! This dealer sounds like a snake in the grass.

From what I see tonight, it looks like proudsioux is trying to stroke you guys This thread needs to be locked like his previous one until he manages to get serious
It's all about the ride to get there, the destination doesn't matter!
