Just took my airbox of the sled today and found that the fuel line coming out of the gas tank and going up to the fuel pump rubs against the steering post when I turn. The fuel line is up against the oil tank and gas tank as tight as it will go yet it still rubs. Is there a fix for this or did Polaris screw up? I am concerned it will rub a hole in the line overtime and leak all over, anyone else have this issue? it's a 2007 600 HO carbed.
I would recommend to check your sleds and make sure yours is not rubbing.

Get a bigger hose and cut the length where it is rubbing> Then cut the tube in half so it is not a tube anymore. Thet put it around the line and zip tie it on

polaris does have a fuel line recall, but it's for The CFI sleds. Only thing you can do is call the dealer, and see if it's a problem with other sleds. Look to see if there is a way to reroute it. If it can't be rerouted maybe even get something like a rubber hose, etc. to put over you fuel line at the contact point.

Unfortunatly I can't put a larger hose around it to protect it. There is no clearance between the fuel hose and steering post so if I wrap a larger hose around it, it will pinch the larger hose and I wont be able to turn the steering post I can't believe they would route the hose in this manner, it makes no sense.

Just throw a heavy nylon fabric over it and just have it rapped, should be thin enough to fit and work.

Get some of that plastic wire protector that they sell at any home store. It will match what you already have.
