I have been considering purchasing a kidney/back support belt. Is it worth the nearly 60 dollar price? DOes it really help much? Thanks

I bought one many years ago. (bad back)

I wear mine all the time, I can tell right away if I forgot to put it on, I have turned around and went back to get it.

I wear it now with my tec vest.

I've never worn one while I was riding. I've worn one at one of my previous jobs. You can tell the difference right when you put it on.

Haha yeah I am.But its a rough ride on a 76 Pantera at 60 miles per hour. On top of that I threw out my back last year because of that and the fact that the EXT is soo heavy and hard to get unstuck.

That is why I can not wait to get my pivot riser installed, and my tekvest because last year I had no back support, and blown shocks and my back killed me every time I was ditch-banging made me want to not ride it last year but that will change this year with valved fox shocks and a tekvest

Age has nothing to do with it. I don't have a bad back, but my back used to get tired after a long day of riding. I have a kidney belt, and it helps a lot. Since I bought my Tek Vest, I rarely wear the kidney belt anymore, though. My wife, however, wears both the belt and the vest. The belt and vest support different areas, so they can be used in combination very well.
