Over the last month i've been researching and looking at quite a few sleds, anythjing from 440 sno pro fans, zr440s, f5's and 6's to polaris sp 440s, zr 600's and now ive got my eye on a 1999 thundercat 1000, bone stock 3900 miles, the guy said he'd take 1600 for it, didnt have any pictures, but said theres not a scratch on it, I had a couple 96 zrt 800's, and absolutely loved them , minus the suspension (pre ETT), was wondering what the pros and cons were of the 99 tcat, I do a variety of riding, mostly open fields and rivers around here, and once or twice a year i get up to northern michigan and do some trail riding

I've never ridden one. Heard a lot about em though. One of the fastest stock sleds ever. If your looking for speed from A to B...buy it. If you want to ditch bang......would'nt be a good idea. For 1600 your getting a pretty good deal. The short tracks are getting harder and harder to find.

Well she's sittin in the garage right now, things pretty clean, the only flaw on the sled is paints wore off the floorboards by your feet, seats perfect, not a scratch on the hood, new track, motor seems strong, hopefully it turns out to be a decent sled

I decided to go pick this sled up last night at about 7pm, it was a 2 and a half hour drive, but i figured at this price might as well get it while its still available, got a few buddies together and a cooler full of road pops and headed out on a road trip, got back at about 2 or so (had to leave for work at 545 haha), unloaded the sled , took the long way back to the garage, and this morning I found about four or five of these throughout the yard haha... studs work

TOLD YOU!
Better start lifting weights because that thing will yank your arms off LOL. Bet you wish you didn't sell me that hood now huh!
I would definitely go through the water pump on that machine. Might want to check your driveshaft bearings too.
Next we need to pimp it out like mine:
Seriously though, treat this kitty good. I know what's happened to your previous cats.

granted i was in grass with 190 something studs so traction wasnt a problem, but it was honestly hard to keep the ski's on the ground, I about took out our light pole because i got a little cocky with it , I opted to take the beans out and took a 30 foot long sled lengths wide strip of the neighbors bean field out , better than the pole i guess haha, I took about 20 foot of the same farmers corn field out on my quad a couple days ago, im sure I'll hear all about it, they plant them damn crops just too close to my yard
