NICE
one thing, why cant you use the stock watercraft syllynders, crank... ? because they are heavy and low on power ?
the pwc cylinders have water ports coming out just under the exhaust. The pwc exhaust man. has a water bar molded into it. Pwc 1200 std. bore is 84mm while a 800 twin is 85mm.
the case has to be machined to install a water bar on the side. (and fly cutting to fit 800 cylinders)
The crank ends are different. Basically two 800(70mm stroke) twin cranks turned 180deg. make up a 1200 crank. Two 700 (68mm stroke) and 700 twin cylinders make a 1050cc. There are a few companys making the cranks to buy done.
Hog, nice setup What Ignition are you going to use 650 or ultra/xcr?
Always cool to see people "thinking" and doing stuff like that...impressive!!!!

You gotta be kidding when you say "pfft its just a 1200". Pfft on the turbo comment, these WC motors can be built to make 325HP and 200ft-lbs of torque, Brad Wursten has built one that does just that, all motor! No turbo, no nitrous!
i am familiar with what wc motors are capable and brads work. 325hp is pretty awesome, just imagine the extra oomf with the turbo is what i was getting at. one guy on snowest is running a doo 1500 turbo, with motec system, thats a wild unit!

roughrider99 how tuneable are the triples with a turbo. Any link for the guy on Snowest?
the_hog are you running EFI or carb?if carbed whats size would you use?

Brads 1500 is bad azz. Along with the other sleds he has built. I was thinking about starting to build a 1500. I don't want to spend the money on a billet crank, for my first w/c build. I'm just starting out collecting parts.

for tuneability it depends on what u wanna achieve. the guy snowest (astro) has a 1500 rxp sea doo motor with motec system. running an aftermarket control system, is alot of work, alot of money, but you are able to control every aspect of the motor and injection system, making more reliable than any other turbo set up with a just a band aid fuel controller. there no threads that i know of that relate to turbo wc motors as there are not very many. but check out the DIY watercraft thread. the link was posted earlier.

Carbs, you can see them in the one picture. I dont think anyone has fuel injected a WC motor yet. I am running 40mm roundslides, but will be switching over to 42mm or bigger flatslides or Lectrons eventually.
1200 WC coming soon
