is there any way to loosin the steering on a 550 - the steering is to hard started by acrtic_cat_fan

grease all the parts on the steering. there should be 1 or two zirks on the steering stem

I find it alot easier to steer when theres snow on the ground..... just me though

is it hard to turn with the skis off the ground? It's going to be difficult to turn the bars if you aren't moving or aren't on snow...

You could try a set of EZ Steer carbides. They have a much shorter carbide runner and it will decrease the steering effort.

throw some ski skins on there, she'll handle like a ferarri, i want to say the purple skins add a few ponies as well
