Only a small chance over the next few days. Remember if its like last year and they get 4 feet in November that trails dont open until Dec. 1 so respect private property.

It was sleeting kind of here today, the rain drops were so small and it was cold enough they were froze, but nothing stuck around. i got excited when you said " SD get you sleds ready" but then i remembered u live out west.

Yeah i go to Southeast Tech, in my last year right now. I say we get a group ride out in the Hills if any or maybe up north by Aberdeen and Bath and that area snow permitting.

I'd be in the aberdeen area for a ride in a heartbeat, i just checked our forecast no snow headed this way, o well it would just be cool to see some of that stuff again.

I hope we don't see snow in eastern SD for @ least another month! I mean I love snowmobiling, but I've got crops to get out! I'm from South Central MN, and basically anything that hits eastern SD is headin my way. If we get that now, its bad news bears for my farming operation. I'm going to be working for one of my buddies farms in Dell Rapids this fall and for their sake (and mine) I hope we don't get snow till after Thanksgiving, being that the crops are already weeks behing schedule.

Yea anything that came would never stick around though,however we do need some more heat for the crops i think, I'm not a farm kid by any means. I think that the crops have to be a certain % of moisture before you take them out right?

It snowed for like 30 seconds last night when I was up at local bar, I couldn't believe it. I looked outside(door was open) and could see it under the light, couldn't believe it.

Calling for more snow tonight and tomorrow, 8-12 inches or so i believe. Still a few inches left from the last snow. At this rate there is going to be a damn good base setup when the trails open.

One of my friends from school is out in the Hills for a SDSU Ambassadors trip and he sent me a picture message of 6-8" of snow on the ground, the power was out 'n everything. I don't know exactly where he was at in the hills though.

Just added two Deadwood Cameras, i could only find two and those were on mainstreet. Are those the two you were talking about?
The year you are talking about getting a dumping, was that the year we got it all in thanksgiving and it took out power to like the entire eastside of the state? 2006 i believe?
