I've actually thought about making a Front Yard Snowmaker...It's actually pretty easy..
High Velocity Compressed air, water nozel with "misting" tip, cold air.
In fact......I'm going to try it...

Looks like my fall just got cut short...
The National Weather Service issued a WINTER STORM WARNING for the foothills and mountains of the Front Range from midnight until 6 p.m. Wednesday. Locations down to 6,000 feet are included in the warning area so some of the southern and extreme southwestern portions of the Denver area are included. the 9NEWS Weather Team feels that most locations will end up closer to the 6 inches than the 16 and that areas north of the Boulder-Larimer County line will get less than that.

A buddy of mine thats going to school in CO had posted photos of the snow they had yesterday couple inches I believe.Not sure where but the mountains he took pics of were completly covered with snow.
