$45K for that little rat? I don't see it flying off the shelf at that price. Ever see what batter replacement costs on the Prius as an example.

I will stick with my 24 - 32 MPG vehicles thank you very much!

I had not heard of this one before. According to this link, it is assembled in China with a 30 to 35 percent U.S. parts content.

Regardless, I don't see electric satisfying the U.S. market.

^ Ha.. that article says the transaxle is made by the company I work for. Who knows what country (I forget the details) as we have a plant in most countries.

Says it get 90-120 miles a charge would not work for me at all. every weekend i drive 300mile lol i'd have to stop and re-charge it 2 times one-way. Wounder how long it takes to charge up fully. This would probly be ideal for in a big city like New York, LA, ect...
