Hey guys, We're going to be doing alot of trail riding this year and my dad wants to know what would be some good accessories and or modifications that would make his 2001 Polaris XCF 440 a better trail sled, thanks!

P.S. He already has a windsheild bag for it.

The options are numerous. Clutching or clutch kit, more aggressive track, bars/riser, more aggressive skis and carbides.

Performance wise you are kind of limited since its fan cooled, but the clutch kit will be the biggest gain there

Well yeah, but its going to be mostly just for trail, we don't need any preformance out if it, cuz it was really made to go fast.

P.S. this sled is all stock except for 120 studs up the middle a windsheild bag.

1998 Polaris Indy 500 chassis with 98 Xc 600 motor
SLP ceramic coated pipe with SLP can
V-force reeds
4 inch pivot riser
Gutted Air Box
EPI clutch kit soon to be installed
Maybe some pro tapers

1998 XC 700 water-cross sled
SLP twin pipes
Some light weight parts
Water-cross mods include taking the parts u do not need
This includes removing the seat replacing gas tank and IFS bars.

I know your new and all, but instead of asking the most basic questions in 8 different topics, how about you try searching for the easy answers and asking the more specific ones...
