I've personally never seen a 97 700 sks in person. First year of the 700 liberty.
I've seen a couple for sale over the last 2-3 years, but not many.

The '97 SKS700 had the PWC motor in it, Teal Green hood, problem child

Try to find the 1980 TXL-Indy340, first of the IFS revolution, I believe ther were 500 made for the racing season that year, late production entry

They made thousands of the 1980 TXL Indy's. They did have a late release run of TXL Indy's in 1979. They have much taller trailing arms than the 1980 TXL Indy's. If you want to know more about rare Polaris sleds your looking on the wrong site.

Pretty sure the tx-l indy was full in 1980. Looking at my repair book, it was a standard model.

Ther's all kinds of odd stuff floating aroud. When I was younger, my folks had an Indy 500 pilot sled, which was in the Indy 400 chassis. He also had a '97 XC 700. Some friends we used to ride with had a 440 XC, it was red I believe it was the year prior to the XCR 440. It had dial adjustable shocks, like some of the Cats had. I believe Polaris got sued for this. I had a Starfire, which was pretty much a TX with a handlebar loop and racy seat (shouldn't of sold, but was younger and needed the money). I have an '85 Indy 600 SE which is rare it has a bunch of chrome and pinstripe.

We had a 1959 for awhile. Was a fun sled, never rode it. But was neat looking the advancements over time.

Not much difference. racer seat with the pads, purple 1 peice head. Same graffics as the 98 other than the 700 on the seat.
