We recently bought a sled which is quite mangled up. We were thinking about stripping it down and rebuilding it on another chassis we have sitting around. The problem is the other chassis had a M-10 in it. How do we put in a edge skid? Will those brackets work? Do any drilling?
Any input is appreciated.

I am not sure about m-10 but I think you have to get different brackets because the edge fox suspension sat higher than m-10 but m-10 gave you a full true 10 inches of rise but do not quote me on the brackets because I have never tried it but good luck with the swap and let us know how it worked when done
1998 Polaris Indy 500 chassis with 98 Xc 600 motor
SLP ceramic coated pipe with SLP can
V-force reeds
4 inch pivot riser
Gutted Air Box
EPI clutch kit soon to be installed
Maybe some pro tapers
1998 XC 700 water-cross sled
SLP twin pipes
Some light weight parts
Water-cross mods include taking the parts u do not need
This includes removing the seat replacing gas tank and IFS bars.

^^No you are thinking of an Xtra-10, the m-10 sits higher than an Edge suspension does.

I'm a bit confused with your wording. You want to TAKE OUT the M-10 suspension from the "good" sled to put in the edge suspension instead???

Regarding my last post i was confused on how the M-10 on the edge was because I have not seen a m-10 edge around here I have seen the regular edge and the m-10 appears to sit higher than the edge so you might need different brackets then because the m-10 gives you more travel

I'm still trying to figure out why you would take m-10 suspension out and replace it with edge suspension. the m-10 suspension is THE BEST...

I have a tunnel that is set up for a M-10. I was wondering how much it would take to put in a edge skid. It really isn't extremely hard to figure out...

I would think it would be just a matter of re-drilling the mounting holes.I have the m-10 and if you look in my gallery you'll see I had to drill new holes, granted I took out an xtra-10,but it's the same over all concept.Line up the skid and go from there.
