Good idea? Take the engine from this beat 1993 lynx

And make a engine mount.

And throw it in this 1970 panther.

And if that all works, possibly try and rig up the read skid and track.

take off your windshield, it'll make you go faster

No its not a very good idea and it would be a headache for something that looks pointless to work on, but if your interested and want to experiment go for it!

looks like a hell of a project. If you are able to do it the more power to ya. But if you want to make your life easier just pick up a old polaris with a blow engine that is cheap and it will go in much easier than the 1970.

2002 Edge x 800; Recently swallowed a valve so, New wiseco pistons, rings, pins, circlips, renikisil cylinders, and updated lower end bearings.
- Slp single Pipe and Can

Describe "beat"

If the only thing useful in the first sled is the motor and you want to make the second sled rideable, sure. Making it fit will be harder than you think depending on your age and ability.

Seems like a no brainer to me.
