I heard a few months back they might do this. Kind of weird, as seeing how good they sold. Them things are everywhere around here.

When I heard of the possible Penske deal earlier this summer, it struck me as a big bite to chew for Penske. But Penske has chewed some pretty big bites in the past. Being a businessman, I think Penske probably made a good decision to let the Saturn deal go. It's too bad the great dealer network can't be used for something, though.

I just remembered: The Saturn dealer here is now a Ford dealer....forget all about that. Never thought about Saturn being dropped when I got a letter about Ford's new location......and that was a month ago!!!

I had a 2000 saturn for a winter car, 150k on ran like a top, never a problem, I'm a die-hard Ford guy, but that little saturn was great, sad to see the brand go. They should phase out chevy & Hummer and keep Pontiac and Saturn in my book :)

Frequently used as a term of derision by non-woodburners who mock the presence of loose bark and other wood waste in the beds of their pickup trucks.

I think that GM should have kept Pontiac and gotten rid of Hummer. Pontiac appealed to a much larger demographic than Hummer.

Didn't they sell out Hummer?? Thought it went overseas. Or was that just the military version (the real one)?

Military version has been owned by a different US company for a number of years, already.

I agree, but there is some more unseen differences in setup in the trucks too. Look at a compsrison between a chev and a GMC and you will see that they have some different specs.

still very costly to produce 2 lines of fairly simular trucks.
