I have a 06 yamaha nytro. I'm from the east coast, us and have always rode there and some trips to canada. Im going to be in colorado for the winter this year and am thinking about my options for riding. What is all involved in converting my standard track into a long track? What size should I go to? Are there any other mods that should be done? The elevation would range from 5000 to 10000 ft and lots snow...

if ur only or mainly goin in the pow, go to atleast a 144. also, u should think about a deeper lug, id go with a 2 inch but u could also take a 1.75, or just maybe 1.5

If you are going to ride in the mountains with a Yamaha you need to check out Mountainperformance.com. They will help with the parts and info and they know how to make your Nytro work. Have fun. Get stuck. Have fun in CO.

ummm the nytro wasn't made till 08, did u mistake the year or do u have an apex? i've never had luck with mountainperformance they are well known for bad customer service. You can extend ur nytro on a decent budget. heres what you'll need"

-get a take off nytro mtx 153 track, lots of mtn guys take em off cause the camo extreme is much better, but if ur on budget you can pick up a 153 maverick for dirtcheap, browse around on snowest.
- Rail extensions
-Clutching, i would also advise regearing down to something like a 19t top tooth.

i would reccommend ulmer racing or hartman performance for your clutching needs and rail extensions.

i ride where its steep n' deep :P
06 apex mtn
excell mtn lite exhaust, fox floats on the front, Timbersled lightweight drop brackets
mtn mod seat, timbersled barkbuster front and mtn tamer rear suspensions, simmons gen 2 skis
MMP freedom axle with (3) 9 in. blaze billet wheels,Gravity worx billet lefty throttle, Cr Racing 9" risers
162 2.5 Camo Xtreme track
YAMAHA BABY!
