You can by a breath box at any sled parts place pretty much.

Anyone who has worn them, will agree with me. The Scott 89xi goggle is hard to beat. Chris Burandt, who used to switch goggles all the time, now only wears the 89xi goggle. With the right helmet, it is the best goggle out there, period. It is also cheaper than most.

I wear pro grip light sensative and 509 films goggles. I like them both. I could care less what some high profile guy or girl is wearing. I were pro grip and 509's cause they fit in my helmet and protect me from frostbite. Biggest plus is to have the breath box on your helmet, without it you are guaranteed to be cold.

With your setup, that is true.

I wear a Shift Agent helmet with NO breath box. I have Scott 89xi goggles ( unless its really warm out ), and a katahdin gear balaclava. My face is the last part of my body to get cold.

Im so sick of fogging up. it ruins riding some days...

^ Quite a few companies that make Moto style helmets will make breath deflectors that fit them for cold weather riding. HJC, Fox, Etc. make breath deflectors for theirs. Even if your helmet doesn't offer one, you can usually retrofit one from another helmet. I fitted the breath deflector out of my HJC into my Fox. All it took was some velcro and a little quality glue.

The only problem I have ever had with Scott 89xi's, is a problem anyone would have with any other goggle. When you take them off and accidentally breath on them, and its -15 out, they get ice on them that has to be scraped off.

The 89xi is the way to go.

I'm going to try a "No Fog" breath deflector this year. You wear that on your face instead of attaching it to your helmet. I hope I never have a fogging problem again on those days when nothing seems to work.

It's good that you guys have luck with the Scott 89xi's. I'm thinking of trying Scott goggles this season, but for winter sports, usually a double lens goggle works better than a single lens like the xi's.

No issue with single lenses here. I actually perfer them over doubles.

The 509's arn't that price copmpared to many other high end goggles.
