When I sit on my sled then get off it stays down about two inches from the top. Doers this mean rebuild shocks , new shock, or what. Open to ideas.

When you sit on it, it should go down around 4-5" and comeback up 3"-4" when you get off it.

You might want to think about getting some stiffer torsion springs. Im about 190 and found stock suspension was to weak for my fat ass. Now my sled has the "fat boy" springs in it and it doesn't sag at all and is still a very comfortable ride on the trails. I never bottom out and it doesn't buck me off when I hit a bump. maybe you not a heavy set guy like I am but I think those springs are definately worth it if you are.

if its doing this while on the wheels in your garage, that could be the reason too. with the wheels under the track like that the suspension will collapse very easily and stay there.
Like xcr440 said, you should be good to go.

Really? yeah it is on the rollers. I guess i never thought of that. All the weights on the back instead of spread over the track.

Same thing will happen if the rollers are under the skis and not the track and the track isnt sitting level on the floor. Have fun with the new sled, its a good one!

Also make sure you grease the suspension up with a good synthetic or low temp grease, that will keep it moving nicely and not sticking anywhere.
And 190lbs is not a very big guy, unless your 5' tall! haha

just get the rear shock rebuilt, only cost 25-35 bucks unless it has resevoir shocks. Then you know the shock is good to go.

I have Fox shocks PPS2 and some coil over on my skid. I had the similar issue with my 01 edge I sent both out to get rebuilt. Now when I get on it only sage's a little bit and when I get of it goes up. Having my shocks rebuilt helped me. The guy who did them said they where well in need of it one had lost a lot of oil and the font shock had lost its nitrogen charge in it completely. I had the sled for 3 years and never rebuilt them and I don't think the pervious owner did either.
