1 isle of the big 4 showing the goods
45 min wait to get in
9 bucks a ticket
5 bucks a beer (if you want one)
0 parts that fit slightly older sleds
Only good things I have found there is meeting rita at tekvest, snogoer for 5 bucks a year, and sometimes there are some decent deals on clothes at the vendor in the basement (that vendor is from MN and an SF'er works for him).
I know you didn't ask that but figured I would give my review of the big east show.

Heh, well I ain't makin' it today.. I ran into a slight issue, well actually more like ran into a telephone pole..
Came over a hilltop at 55 on a backroad I never been down before, and saw a hard left turn at the bottom of a steep hill in the middle a pond in the road. No way to stop or negotiate the turn, so I had the choice to go head on to a pole or a big ass rock. I aimed for the middle before I hit the water, and bounced off of a smaller rock in the middle, into the pole at about 10 mph.
A little plastic damage to the ole Jeep, and the rock damaged something underneath. Now the steering wheel is crooked, the tow is out, and it's leaking p/s fluid.
I should have known better than to let the ^#^*%$*% GPS take me down them back ^#%$^&* roads!!!

OUch well glade you where able to walk away from it unharmed.

Yeah, me too...
I'm goin back there sunday with a camera, and take all sorts of pictures, then find out what town that's in, and make them pay to fix my ^&$@#%^*& Jeep!!! I would have done that today but it's pourin, and I need to meet a couple people at the show tomorrow about the EFI stuff.
Really pisses me off, because I was supposed to meet a guy tonight, and he doesn't have a cellphone.

Ahhh, interesting things were discussed today at the show, interesting things indeed!!!
The show itself, seemed a little subdued.. Crowds were smaller, and about 10% of the vendors that had been at previous shows did not have booths this year, most notably Shadetree Powersports.. (I tossed the catalog they mailed me when I got home)
New stuff was all pretty much MSRP, but the year old stuff was dirt cheep making for some good bargains.
I finally got my first hands-on look at the rush chassis, and all I can say is WTF were they smoking when they got that radical on the chassis design change. That thing is sick!!! But I can also see it being a bitch to do motor work on.

After further review, the I'm calling the old jeepster totaled... It's really not damaged all that bad, but it needs the power steering gearbox changed, and I don't feel like putting one in.
So, I'm selling it and my parts jeep, (that makes 2 1999 Cherokee 4x4's) for $2g.
