Did you go back to your older thread and look at the link arcticcatmatt posted? Those pretty much sum it up. My next suggestion would be to buy a shop manual. This has all of the info you could want in it along with diagrams and pictures to help. $40.

Then if it messes up then you can blame it on the mechanic.

Seriously? ArcticCatMatt already told you what to do in one of your other posts. There is a complete HOW TO section on the site or there is a SEARCH feature that can be benificial.

First, if you have them back together, you have to sync the carbs and make adjustments.

To sync:
Leave the key out!! (So somebody doesn't try to start it on you.)
Insert the roundslides, snug the top retainer that the cable goes to. Do not install them on the motor yet.
Operate throttle to wide open and make sure slides are opening all the way.(Also make sure the slides move smoothly)
Put a zip-tie on the throttle to hold the slides open approx. 3/8-7/16" (on the engine side).
Using GOOD drill bits, find one that just rubs between the bottom of the venturi and the slide (again on the engine side)(You may have to adjust zip-tie to get a perfect fit)
Adjust the other to match by using the adjuster on the top of the carb.(Make sure you aren't pulling on the cables or it will be off)
Make sure slides open all the way again and are still smooth.
Take zip-tie off.
Mount carbs.
The rest is done on the air box side of the carbs.
Again, using drill bits,
Adjust slides so both are at the same height at idle position.(Adjust using idle speed screws on the side of the carbs.)
You may have to adjust the idle again after you start it. (At idle position, there should be just a very small opening through the carbs. Better to start off low then over-rev and have clutch engage and run through wall.
Your idle mixture screw on the side of the carb---start at 1 1/2 turns out from seated.
Adjust to get smooth idle quality.
Don't get frustrated trying to sync....It can be a real pain at times. Any other questions, just pm me and I'll help best I can. But some things are just hard to explain in type without showing you.

When you get it idling at a good rpm (look at the sticker under your hood for the required speed) and smooth, you will want to watch the plugs. Let it idle for a while, pull plugs and check. If they are white or black, you need to readjust your idle mixture screw.
WHEN YOU HAVE SNOW, go out for a run across a lake, kill motor before it gets a chance to idle.(you will still be haulin') Pull plugs and check, this will tell you about main jetting, and actually should be doing a full throttle run, just be careful, and only hold full for about 30 seconds. This is plenty of time for the plugs to change color.
Adjust jetting if necessary. You probably won't have to, but you never know.

And once again, read ACM's post about this in your other topic.

You fail at life. Not because you cant tune carbs but because you cant type. I cant believe the guy above me bless his heart put that much effort into helping you even though you cant take the two minutes to write it out coherently. God...

I can tell he's still struggling. If he read ACM's post or didn't, don't know, but I'm usually willing to help out a younger fan trying to learn things. Heck, if he lived in my area, I probably would've just gone over and did it for him. Call me sick or worse if you may, but that's just the way I am.

I've been helping out a bud here with a lot of projects and all he owes me is a thanks and a couple tanks of gas when we go riding.

I've always been told I have too much patience.

there is no exact amount. Each engine can call for a different setting.

I appologize for being a butt head... But he would have to be 7 not to be able to type and if that is the case he shouldn't be tuning carbs.

Just take them off and take them to your dealer and tell them to put them back to stock settings. Take note where everything is set and adjust from there. I have a feeling you are playing with too many things at once and because of that you have no idea what is making a difference or why it is.

Einstein did't complete high school, but was he an idiot because of that? Some people are not good at somethings. Way to apologize and then slam the guy again. May be you need to follow suit of xlt96s' behavior. Not trying to start something but geez lighten up on the guy!

Glad to see I wasted my time writing that entire post for you in one of your other 15 carb threads. xlt96rider is wasting his time too. Here, I will post a link to it AGAIN for you http://www.snowmobilefanatics.com/forum/...st=1060767

And people around here wonder why the "better" members are not posting help to people as much anymore.

I am locking your thread as you are now cluttering the forum with threads about the same thing, your carbs. If you cannot get a manual to get the turn numbers, start a thread in the forum for your brand of sled and ask specifically in the title your question. Example - "Carb settings for 19xx Polaris needed"
