Hey guys, it was pointed out to me awhile ago that I was making alot of new threads about stuff that was already on the site, so I have been making sure before I posted something I was searching it up. For this one I didn't come up with anything so I need your guys help. On my Starlite the windsheild bracket is broken and they don't make on anymore anywhere, so I need some ideas on how I can rig up a windsheild on it, its the same on an Indy lite as well. If anybody has any ideas I would greatly appreiciate it.
Thanks,
Devin.

If you don't find anything then hand guards would be the best thing to do.

Yeah thats kinda what I was thinking, new hand and thumb warmers too, old ones aren't working the best.

Yeah, I did check some salvage yards and vintage sled places and still no luck, I don`t know why Polaris discontinued the part in the first place.

I know it's gonna be different but it will work. If I'm looking at the right price though it's exspensive. BTW this is the only Indy Lite chassis on there. I checked and they dont have Indy Lite's 95-97.

Holy crap! I think for that much money I'll just go with some handgaurds, new hand and thumb warmers, and new gloves.

Could you get pictures? Of what broke and what you have to attach too? Might help people figure it out.
If you cant fix it with duct tape, tylnol, or band aids your screwed.

Hmm, I have some, these might help:
Error: File 159720 doesn't exist in gallery!
Error: File 159723 doesn't exist in gallery!
Those are the ones before I cut it up so I could just use the headlight, its just the blue peice that the windsheild is attached to.

Ha ok that doesnt help either. I see your problem but cant think of anything. Jimmy rig it is your best bet. AKA Tape, screws, super glue, etc. So the windshield attaches to that blue piece underneath it and the blue piece attaches to the sled correct?

Yeah exactly, my only other option is to get some handguards, new hand and thumb warmers, and some new gloves which is what I'm leaning towards. The only reason I really wanted the windsheild on there was because I got frostbite last year because I had no wind protection which sucked.

I had frost bite on my cheek one year. I would highyl suggest getting your windshield fixed if thats the case. lol. So is there any way that an old indy windshield would wind? If youy just skipped that blue bracket all together and go directly into the hood? Or does the bracket attach another way?
