Don't think there was a kit of 02's If I remember right the 02's need the team or polaris roller clutch with an er helix and a 03' flywheel and recoil.

I've done it and highrolla has done it. Buy the 03 kit and put it on and it works just fine. The kit comes with a Polaris roller, but the Team roller has way more helix choices. I had a Team roller on mine. A flywheel and oil pump are recommended, but not neccessary. I didn't change out either one to begin with, but did buy an 03 oil pump after 2 years of riding it. It worked great. It's the best thing I ever did to my sled. I highly highly recommend it.
I need big jugs on my sled, cuz my girl doesn't.

Why would you not buy the oil pump!?!? I do realize that you usually don't run your sled in reverse that long, but if you did... engine would be getting no oil...
Whats the difference in the flywheels? what will it change?

You just have to remember not to run it in reverse for very long if you don't have the reverse compatible oil pump, no big deal.
I can't remember the specifics on the flywheel. I think 2002 flywheel is 14 degrees and 2003 is 18 degrees.

yes, your flywheel is most likely 14 degrees and the newer ones are 18. However, 99% of people that have done this and left the 14 degree flywheel on the sled haven't noticed any performance issues. It really doesn't make any difference. I have done it to two sleds and left the 14 degree in it and noticed no change in performance.

hmm, I'd like to learn something new today lol. What do you mean by 14 or 18 degrees on the flywheel. I thought the flywheel had different weights..?

I can't see any reason why you would not change the oil pump out, seems dangerous!

its def. safer if you change it, nothing to worry about though. Just have to make a mental note to not have it in reverse for an extended period of time.

Running it in reverse for 5-10 seconds with out oil won't hurt anything. The gas it's using while in reverse is aready in the carb and has oil in it.

This is correct, not sure why you have a neg. The oil pump has four ports. one to each carb and the other two lube the base. so there will be enough oil in the carb to lube the cylinders for a couple seconds, just not getting any oil pumped to the crank. People have been running the reverse without the reverse pump for years and having no problems.
