My rear shock is shot. I have a 96 Polaris Indy 500 carb, and need to find some new shocks. Any suggestions on what to purchase and where? Ebay has very few to choose from and I can't find retailers online anywhere.

Also, should I go with gas or hydraulic? The one I took off is a hydraulic (I imagine original equipment - it's a Gabriel). I know Fox shocks are the ideal. Ryde FX is my second option. I don't mean to go cheap, but would a Kimpex hydraulic suffice? I'm not looking to upgrade or improve. A shock that is in working condition would be good to have. Everything else on the chassis seems to be in good working order.

Any thoughts would be appreciated!
