I picked up my newsest sled from crazyzrt600 this saturday.
-1994 Wildcat 700 EFI-
These are pics i got from crazyzrt600, i will be getting pics at my place tomarrow.
I am going to be completly redoing this sled. Im going to be basically stripping it, except probably the suspension. Right now it needs new pistons. It could also use a new track and a seat cover. I have already taken the pipes out, and put a pair of skis with green skins on them.
The sled has about 5300 miles on it. It has a form of updated suspension. ill get picks so someone can identify it for me.
Feel free to let me know any info on this sled, opinions, etc. Let me know about good and bad mods, etc. for this sled. I am going to need all the info to work on it, so if someone could please find all the engine and torque specifications, track length, weight and all that other stuff. Does soemone know where i can get some of those exploded diagrams on it?
Im also looking for the pistons and gasket set that i need, so if someone knows of a good deal, let me know about it!
So far, this is what i know im gonna be doing- polishing tunnel and running boards. Picked track. Green accessories/add-ons(Handguards, bogie wheels, snowflap, etc.
Any other ideas?
More to come.

Ok, i got some questions, feel free to point me in the right direction.
1- For my can, could i hollow it out, and would it still work well? I am doing this so it would sound good. Im gonna be driving this on trails, mostly drag racing, etc.
2- What is the torque settings/adjustments numbers for this sled's engine? I REALLY need this. Anyone got anything?
3- Can i sandblast my exhaust pipe, in preperation to paint them? Or is this going to wear them too thin?
Parts wanted-
Green snowflap
3/4 inch pivot riser.
Green/black handlebar pad- the long thin type.
Green/black shock covers
Gasket/piston set

Yeah, i stay away from large patches of water, i dont have that experience yet.
I might gut the can, not sure. Will probably wait to hear it run. THe pipes, once i can find a working sandbalster, will be painted.
Any one else have anything to offer?
Torque specs, parts for sale?

How can i get the seat off this sled?
As far as i can tell, there are two bolts under the tunnel, going up into the seat that hold it on.
I can not get these to come out- they just spin. Must be that the nut is moving with it.
Any help?

Ok, i was checking under neath the tunnel a few days ago, and found these.
THe first is the intercoolers, i think? Im wondering if they are ok as is- whith me being able to put my hand under them like so.
I also found some cracks right around the other coolers, wondering if they are ok?
Now, i have practically no access to welding equipment, so i want to know how serious these cracks are.
I have painted the dash of the sled, and am working ona handlebar setup.
I am looking for mounts to acerbis handgaurds, and to sportech handguards. Please let me know if you have some for sale or trade.
Still looking for the above items.

The tourqe specs are probably between 20-30 foot pounds. If no one else can help you with the tourqe specs I would go 25 ft lbs on the heads and jugs.

25 foot pound sounds right to me make sure its got a flat deck surface too. And on the pipes sand blasting will be perfectly fine. but even high temp wont last for than a year unless you bake them. Oh yeah by the way. Lets see some pics!

Some pics and more questions in.
I got the seat covered, i kinda customized it. The seat cover was made for a newer Arctic cat.
I was told that the rear suspension was updated, like a M-10 or something like that.
Can anyone identify it?
Next, The engine. The cylinders are great condition.
I am in need of the battery for this sled. Is it required for the sled to run, because it's EFI? The sled is not electric start.
Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks. Yeah, its going slowly but surely.
Its hard working, this sled is on my unheated, unlighted green house, so im usually out there with a kerosene lantern and a headlight, freezing my hands off and wrenching at something at 8 at night.
Anybody got a battery for sale?
